Dr Wei Li is Professor and Director of Centre for Management Case Studies at Chongqing University of Technology. He earned his doctorate of management from Nankai University in 2012. And then between 2014 and 2016, Dr Li studied as postdoctoral fellow at Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in China, and serviced as a visiting scholar at the University of British Columbia (Canada) from 2017 to 2018, a visiting academic at the University of Warwick (UK) in 2020. In 2019, Dr Li was selected into the Bayu scholar program that is top scholar funding in Chongqing.
As a professor of entrepreneurship and strategic management, Dr Li has engaged in research on entrepreneurial and strategic issues. In the past few years, he published about forty papers and six books that almost covered all top journals and presses in China. His current research projects include “The formation and utility mechanisms of market ambidexterity in new ventures under multiple-uncertain environment” funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China, and “Ambidextrous marketing capabilities of new ventures in dynamic environment” supported by the Chinese Ministry of Education.
